Rev Victor Ekpe Bags MVP, Others Shine at Chevron All Stars Warri Gala and Award Night 2025

Rev Victor Ekpe was crowned Most Valuable Player at 2025 Chevron All Stars Warri Gala and Award Night, held in grand style at the Chevron Recreational Centre in Warri, Delta State.


The colorful event  brought together players, officials and football enthusiasts to celebrate outstanding performances recorded during the football year. The event highlighted excellence, discipline and commitment within the Chevron All Stars Warri football family.



The highlight of the night was the crowning of Rev Victor Ekpe as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the Year, a recognition of his exceptional impact, leadership and consistency throughout the season. Other major individual awards reflected the depth of talent within the club, with Oghenetejiri Sagba emerging as Outstanding Young Player of the Year, while Efe Moore was named Most Disciplined Player of the Year. Pastor Goodluck Ebireri won the Most Committed Player of the Year award, and Onyeka David was honoured as Most Committed New Player of the Year. The Most Improved Player of the Year accolade went to Abii Kingsley Edemi.



In the technical categories, Gbejule Akpieyi was crowned Best Goalkeeper of the Year, Seun Jegede emerged as Best Defender, Utieyin Enonuya took the Best Midfielder award, while Igho Ekakitie was named Best Attacker of the Year. Prince Dr Godstime Emiko finished the season as the Highest Goal Scorer, while Anthony Sifo claimed the Best Goal of the Year honour.



The gala also featured the unveiling of the Chevron All Stars Warri Team of the Year, split into two outstanding squads. Team Red, coached by Gordons, included Anthony Sifo, Lucky Amorighoye, Oligida Omayeone, Nesiama Sunny, Felix Tangbe, Rev Victor Ekpe, Prince Godstime Emiko, Igho Ekakitie, Fredrick O., Ebikeme Kingsley and Abii Kingsley Edemi.


Team Blue, coached by Prince Jakpo Omeru, featured Gbejule Akpieyi, Tega Tebuanu, Collins Oki, Pastor Goodluck Ebireri, Seun Jegede, Chuks Oyarin, Utieyin Enonuya, Big Sam Ogoru, Clarkson Ogo, Christian Wikson and Jones Kemabo.


The 2025 gala night underscored the values of unity, sportsmanship and excellence, as Chevron All Stars Warri celebrated a successful football season and looked ahead to greater achievements.
