In decisions released following the final, CAF imposed significant financial penalties and suspensions on both the Senegalese and Moroccan football federations, citing unsporting behaviour, crowd misconduct, and actions that brought the game into disrepute. Sanctions on Senegal The Senegal Football Federation (FSF) was hit with cumulative fines totaling $615,000 . These include: $300,000 for supporters’ improper conduct, $300,000 for unsporting behaviour by players and staff, as well as bringing the game into disrepute, $15,000 for misconduct linked to the five yellow cards received during the final.
