ETU MOSES VISIT NSC CHAIRMAN DIKKO, LAUDS SPORTS REFORMS.

 

Former Chairman of Warri Wolves FC, Etu Moses, has commended Shehu Dikko for what he described as a significant restoration of integrity within Nigeria’s sports sector.

Moses made the remarks when he visited Dikko in Abuja this week, where he applauded ongoing reforms and the renewed professionalism in the administration of sports across the country.

He particularly praised the recent contract extension of Super Eagles head coach, Eric Chelle, noting that the process was handled in a timely and professional manner. According to him, such efficiency reflects a growing commitment to proper planning and stability within the national team setup.

Moses said the early renewal of Chelle’s deal will allow the coach to focus fully on his responsibilities without distractions, ultimately benefiting the performance of the Super Eagles.

He further endorsed the decision to assign Chelle the additional responsibility of managing the U-23 team, describing it as a forward-thinking move. He explained that the dual role would give the coach the opportunity to identify and groom young talents, creating a smooth transition of players into the senior national team.

“This structure will help in breeding a new generation of players and ensuring continuity in the national team,” Moses stated.

He expressed optimism that with sustained reforms and strong leadership, Nigerian football is on course for greater development and long-term success on the global stage.
