Sodje Applauds Nigeria’s Strong Start at Commonwealth Games

A member of the Delta State Sports Commission Board, , has expressed optimism over Team Nigeria’s performance at the ongoing in Scotland, noting a marked improvement in the country’s early competitiveness.
Sodje, a former Nigeria international, observed that Nigeria’s strong start at the Games represents a significant shift from previous editions, where athletes typically gained momentum only in the later stages of the competition. According to him, the early impact recorded by Nigerian athletes reflects better preparation and a more structured approach to competition.
