London, England.

Arsenal have reportedly reached an agreement with Aston Villa to sign England international defender Ezri Konsa in a deal worth £51 million plus add-ons.

The 28-year-old centre-back is said to have already said an emotional farewell to his Villa teammates after reaching an agreement over his move to the north London club.

Konsa is expected to undergo his medical with Arsenal on Thursday, with the transfer now reportedly entering its final stages.

The England international has established himself as one of Aston Villa’s most reliable defenders in recent seasons, combining strength, composure and versatility at the back. His potential arrival would provide Arsenal with another experienced option in their defensive ranks as they look to compete on multiple fronts.

The reported £51 million fee, excluding add-ons, would make Konsa a significant investment for the Gunners, underlining the club’s confidence in his ability to strengthen their defence.

If the medical is completed successfully and the final formalities are concluded, Konsa will become Arsenal’s latest major addition ahead of the new campaign.

Arsenal fans will now await official confirmation of the deal, with the transfer potentially set to be completed in the coming days.
