The visiting delegation of Green AllianceFootballAcademy(GAFA) has continued its strategic engagements in the United Kingdom with a high-profile meeting involving former Premier League manager, Micky Adams.


The GAFA team, led by Chief Executive Officer ,Johnbull Eghreriniovo and Chief Operating Officer , Sam Sodje held discussions with Adams.



Speaking to GAFA in house Media, the academy’s Chief Operating Officer and former Brentford FC defender, Sam Sodje, emphasized that such interactions are crucial in building bridges that could open doors for young Nigerian talents seeking opportunities abroad.


The meeting is expected to lay the groundwork for future collaborations, including possible training exchanges, scouting opportunities, and mentorship programmes for both players and coaches within the academy.


GAFA’s ongoing UK tour continues to highlight its commitment to global partnerships and its ambition to position itself as a leading hub for grassroots football development in Nigeria and beyond.

The highlight of the reunion was the honour bestowed on former head coach, Benjamin Okomoh , who was gifted Two  million naira by his ex-players in appreciation of the discipline, mentorship and values he instilled in them during their playing days. His former assistant coach was also honoured with a cash gift of over six hundred thousand naira for his contribution to the team’s growth and development.
